Inaugural Conference: Dr. Livingston’s Speech

Dated: October 9, 2023 admin

Click the image above to view Dr. Donald W. Livingston’s speech from the Ludwell Orthodox Fellowship’s Inaugural Conference which was held on September 16, 2023, in Tobaccoville, NC. The purpose of the gathering was to bring together like-minded Orthodox Christians, catechumens, and inquirers from across the South (and a few beyond) to discuss Orthodox evangelization of the South and the enculturation of Orthodoxy into the distinctive Southern ethos. Are Southerners a distinct people? Do we have a distinct culture? If so, can this culture be “baptized” into Orthodoxy? For more information on the conference, visit our Event page.
