In Episode I of our new series “Understanding the Creed,” Dr. Clark Carlton looks at the nature of the Creed, specifically as a formal definition of the Church, as a rule of faith, as the Symbol of Faith, and finally as a “hypothesis,” which gives the basic outline or plot of our Orthodox Faith.
