Milos Konjevich

Milos Konjevich served from 1994 to 2016 as the treasurer of the Diocese of the South (Orthodox Church in America). It would not be an exaggeration to say that he was the financial brains behind the diocese’s extraordinary growth. The diocese put his contribution this way: “His financial plan for the Diocese of the South reiterated the tithe as the basis of parish and diocesan support, and focused on mission planting, parish development, and clergy support. He was Archbishop Dmitri’s closest confidant for many years (and) an indefatigable champion of parish priests and parish councils.” In addition, Milos was especially responsible for overseeing the construction and decoration of St. Seraphim Cathedral in Dallas. In 2001, the OCA awarded him the Order of St. Innocent. Milos is buried in the Orthodox Garden of the Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
