“The Faith” Is Back in Print!

Dated: January 5, 2023 admin

After several years of being out of print, “The Faith: An Orthodox Catechism” is back in print! First published in 1997, “The Faith” quickly established itself as the premier Orthodox catechism in the English language. With forewords by Archbishop Dmitri of Dallas, Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver, Bishop Basil of Wichita, and Archbishop Peter of Chicago, “The Faith” has been used in Churches and by individuals across multiple Orthodox jurisdictions.

The second edition is slightly revised, with a few corrections and minor updates. “The Faith” is available in paperback, with a retail price of $27.99. Individual orders can be placed through Amazon or any other bookseller. Bulk orders (with discount) can be placed with Ingram Books. At present, there is no Kindle version, but if there is sufficient demand, a Kindle version may be added later in the year.

The rest of the Faith Series – “The Way: What Every Protestant Should Know about the Orthodox Church,” “The Truth: What Every Roman Catholic Should Know about the Orthodox Church,” and “The Life: The Orthodox Doctrine of Salvation” – will be republished in 2024.

Update 2/4/24: “The Life: The Orthodox Doctrine of Salvation“ is now back in print, too!

The 2023 edition of “The Faith” by Clark Carlton, co-founder & editorial director of the Ludwell Orthodox Fellowship.

“’The Faith’ is an indispensable guide for Orthodox Christians who want to know their faith and for those who are in search of authentic Christianity.”
— Archbishop Dmitri of Dallas (OCA)

“’The Faith’ is the best-written catechism thus far for any person who wishes to understand the faith and its theology.”
—
Bishop (now Metropolitan) Isaiah of Denver (GOA)

“’The Faith’ is a straightforward exposition written in an easy to understand style … it is a joyous – and vital – event in the life of the Church.”
—
Bishop Basil of Wichita (AOCA)

“The merit of ‘The Faith’ is that the author is able to present eternal truths in a way that is comprehensible to modern man.”
— Archimandrite (now Archbishop) Peter (ROCOR)
